RAVE REVIEWS

"I am a mother to 2 young children and work part time outside of the home. After my second child was born I was diagnosed with postpartum depression.  I knew something was wrong. I didn’t feel like myself, but couldn’t put my finger on what exactly the problem was. Every day became a struggle to get out of bed and put my best foot forward. Ileah recognized this and encouraged me to see a doctor. Postpartum depression isn’t nearly as taboo as it used to be, but I felt guilty and was resistant to start a regimen with prescription drugs.

Last summer my family began fostering my nephew. To say I was overwhelmed was an understatement. I felt frantic. Not just because of the extra work another baby requires, but because my entire family dynamic changed. We had all become embroiled in the court system, extended family included. Sides were taken and lines drawn in the sand. Ileah helped me stay focused on what was important. My nephew’s safety and my family’s happiness came first. She taught me to ignore the big picture and focus on my immediate family. The big picture seemed foreboding and the weight of it was too much for any one person. When I began focusing on the needs of my household I felt in control. I felt powerful and I found my happiness again.

Ileah genuinely cares for the people she coaches. As badly as we all want a quick bandaid to fix our problems, that is rarely a long term solution. Ileah doesn’t rush anything. She is an excellent listener and is receptive to unique situations. There is never any judgment. Her kindness holds no bounds.

I like Ileah’s approach because it’s one on one and very personal. There’s no big show with bright lights. Just two adults having a conversation that is 100% confidential. There is nothing that is too trivial and your emotional response is encouraged and never looked down upon.

My experience with Ileah was profound. I felt lost and lonely and was self medicating. She helped me find a doctor, eased my guilt about medication and helped me focus on my and my family’s happiness. I cannot imagine where I’d be without her.

I would highly recommend Ileah to anyone who is struggling to make sense of a chaotic existence. She is patient, kind and genuine."

"Ileah is such a generous and kind soul. She listens with intent, creates a safe space for you and ensures that you feel valued.  She has been there with me and for me through my struggles in my relationship with my partner.

In life we set goals for our jobs, our personal endeavors, like traveling or volunteer work, etc. Then why don’t we set goals in love? Ileah asked me what I wanted my love life to look like in 1, 5, 10 years, and not just my love relationship with a partner but also my love relationship with myself. She asked me to be intentional about the process and to imagine what love fulfillment for me would look like.

Lastly, in my conversations with her, I have been able to explore my anxiety; anxiety has been a state I have operated in for years without even understanding that’s what it was. She has asked questions that have given me perspective and encouraged me to see life differently. I am fortunate to have crossed paths with this amazing human.

Ileah will work with you and give you the care you deserve and need. Her life experiences have molded her and she has the experience, empathy and heart to help you make your life richer, filled with love and understanding. Thank you, Ileah."
