Thriving in Challenging Relationships

Loving someone with Bipolar or Anxiety Disorder can be complicated. It can also be fantastic! I work with people who are caregivers of or in relationships with individuals living with Depression, Bipolar Disorder and/or Anxiety Disorder.

My husband lives with Bipolar Disorder, so my experiences inform my practice. I recognize that these relationships can be taxing, exhausting and that no day is the same as the next.

I demonstrate the importance of self-care, and will help you find places in your day to take care of yourself. I will show you how to set compassionate boundaries, and why it is important to keep them. Together we will make a plan that lays out how you may support your person, especially during challenging times, in a way that empowers them without giving all of yourself away.
